November is here and so is the cooler weather. Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is right around the corner which means Santa’s on his way also. November is full of fun from storytimes to Holiday events. Here are 30 things to do in November with kids in Pensacola.

  1. Halloween Hangover! Rest and Eat Candy.
  2. Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show starts today at NAS Pensacola. Gates open at 8am, air show starts at 9am and the Blue Angels fly around 1:30pm today and tomorrow. *
  3. Great Gulfcoast Arts Fest is happening in Downtown Pensacola from 9am-5pm. See some great local art, entertainment, and hands on activities for the kids in the children’s area from 10am-4pm.
  4. Head over to the Pensacola Bay Brewery from 4-6pm for their Fall Concert Series and listen to Yard Lights.
  5. Kids ages 6-12 can learn about England through arts and crafts at the Pensacola Library’s Passport to the World. *
  6. It’s Election Day! Take the kids and go VOTE! 
  7. Children ages 4-8 can head on over to Ever’man Cooperative Grocery and Cafe for Story Seedlings where they will listen to a story, create a snack, and do a craft project from 2:45-4pm. *
  8. Bring an old shirt and turn it into a work of art at Family STEAM Night at the Pensacola Library at 6pm. *
  9. Santa Arrives at Cordova Mall. From 5:30-7:30pm there will be activities such as a performance from Five Flags Dance Academy, wild animals from Animal Tales, a snow machine and a parade to welcome Santa. *
  10. Celebrate the release of the second movie of Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them at 1pm at the Pensacola Library with games, crafts, treats and more. *
  11. Its Kids Free Weekend at the Gulfarium in Fort Walton Beach. Kids 12 and under get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket (2 free kids per adult). The Gulfarium is open 9am-3:30pm today.
  12. Head over to Mobile for a Veterans Day Celebration and Flag Parade at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park from 3-4pm. *
  13. Homeschool Meet Up at Wonderland Children’s Museum ( 151 Van Buren st, Daphne AL) at 10am. Enjoy free coffee and donuts. Children are $12 and parents are free with a purchase from the cafe.
  14. Children can practice reading by reading to Tanner during Read with a Dog at the Pensacola Library from 4-6pm. Sign up for your child’s 15 minute time slot by calling 850-436-5038. *
  15. It’s time for the City of Fairhope Tree Lighting from 5:30-8pm in Fairhope, Al. *
  16. November Gallery Night is here, visit Downtown Pensacola from 5-9pm for some family fun and explore the Pensacola arts culture. *
  17. Have Pancakes with Santa at Gulf Coast Kid’s House from 8-10:30. Cost is $10 per person and includes a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus, breakfast and children’s activities.
  18. The Panhandle Community Theater in Pace is putting on a performance of Steel Magnolias at 2:30pm. Tickets start at $15.
  19. Buy a one day wristband and get into Sam’s Fun City for free during fall break during Keys to the Turkey Trot
  20. Hampstead Stage Presents: A Christmas Carol at the Tryon Branch Library at 4pm. *
  21. Build Moana LEGO sets, munch on Popcorn and watch Moana at the Pensacola Library at 1pm. *
  22. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Gobble til you wobble!
  23. It’s Christmas in Pensacola! At 4pm there is the Elf Parade in Downtown Pensacola followed by the First City Lights Festival Lighting Ceremony at 5pm. *
  24. Watch the Polar Express at the Saenger Theater from 5-8pm. Cost is $7 per person.
  25. Go Ice Skating at the Pensacola Bay Center at 1:30pm, 3:00pm and 4:30pm. Cost is $12 and includes skate rental.
  26. Go play at Perdido Kids Park. *
  27. The City of Orange Beach is having their tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 at the Wharf on Main Street. *
  28. Head over to Orange Beach for Ice Skating at the Wharf from 10am-10pm. Cost is $10 for skating (includes skate rental), $13 for skating and the ferris wheel, $80 for a frequent skate pass and $3 for sock.
  29. Make glow in the dark volcanos and fly light up hand drones while listening to techno music at the Pensacola Library at 6pm at the Virtual Reality Bright Lights Sparkle Party. *
  30. Go play Reindeer Games at Winterfest in Downtown Pensacola from 5-8pm. *
