There is a “WHALE OF A GOOD TIME” ahead at Cahill Camp Corral, and this year they are happy to announce the 50th year of Arden Cahill Academy and our summer program! At Cahill Camp Corral we offer a relaxed environment where campers Age 3 – 14 (must be 4 by 9/30/18) continue to grow and develop  during the summer months.  All activities take place on their beautiful 12 acre campus.  Arden Cahill Academy’s campus is centrally located in Gretna on the Westbank just minutes from the GNO Bridge. Children should never take a vacation from learning; that is why, at Camp Corral,  also offers the option to take study classes in conjunction with summer play camp.

Caring leaders, made up mainly of teachers and alumni, will facilitate and participate with your child in many activities; Swimming (in their  junior Olympic size pool or splash pool), Computer Lab, Indoor Play in an air conditioned gym, Outdoor Play and Barn Time complete with Horseback Riding through Bayou Stables and a Petting Farm, Game Room activities including tournaments and Wii, Arts & Crafts, and Theatre performances each session where all campers perform in the 300 seat Little Theatre. Last year all of their campers performed “Beauty and the Beast, Jr.” in Session I and “Aladdin, Jr.” in Session 2.  Both performances were phenomenal! They are looking forward to two more fantastic summer productions during Week 5 of Session 1 and Week 4 of Session 2. There are special days that include fishing, gardening, archery, riflery, dance, discovery science and STEAM, snack attack, dances, blue & white days, camp “in” , waterslide, bounce house, rodeos, color relays and much, much, more.  Your lil’ or big camper will not get bored because there are age specific activities galore offered throughout the summer! Lil’ Camp Corral has weekly themes.  Join us for Safari Week, Shark Week, or Space week to name a few!

Children may register as session or weekly campers. Registering your camper for a full session is the most affordable option.    If you are registered as a session camper, you will pay full session prices for all programs, such as: hot lunch, horseback riding and child care.  The price will not be prorated at any time during the session. Summer study classes are only offered to campers registered for the full session 1 or full session 2.  If you prefer more flexibility, you may register as a weekly camper, you will be paying a higher price but will have the advantage of adding weeks as you go throughout the summer and adding programs such as hot lunch, child care and horseback week to week. For example, a weekly camper may choose to sign up for horseback riding one week and not the other weeks they are attending camp.

Free Registration:  Registration for Session 1 is FREE until May 14th and registration for Session 2 is FREE until June 18.  After those dates for those sessions, camp registration is $50 per camper.

Summer Discount: Campers registered for both camp sessions 1 & 2 in full, together, by May 14, 2018 will receive $100.00 discount.

Family Discount: $25.00 discount per session for each additional sibling when registering siblings for the entire 5 week session during the FREE registration period. Family Discounts will end on May 14th for Session 1 campers and June 18th for Session 2 campers. Please use the discount code that will be provided to you at the time of registering your additional camper or campers.

They  are looking forward to having a whale of a summer with your camper! Please do not hesitate to contact them at 504-392-0902 if you have any questions during the registration process or regarding Camp Corral.
