13 FUN Must Do Halloween Events for Pensacola Kids

October is here and it’s almost Halloween! The spooks and tricks and treats are coming and so are all the FUN Halloween events happening around Pensacola. Here are 13 MUST Do Halloween Events for Kids In Pensacola this October.

Boo At the Zoo

The Gulf Breeze Zoo invites children to come have some daytime Halloween fun during the 6 days of Boo At the Zoo. There will be trick or treating, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals and of course the ZOO! Dates are October 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28 from 10am – 5pm. Purchase Tickets 

A Nightmare Before Christmas

Ballet Pensacola presents A Nightmare Before Christmas October 19-21 and October 26-28 at the Pensacola Little Theater. Stay and take pictures with the cast on October 19 and join the pre-show party at the Pensacola Cultural Center at 5:30pm that includes a costume contest. Visit Ballet Pensacola for showtimes and tickets. 

Halloween Gallery Night

Once a month Downtown Pensacola shuts down the streets and comes alive. Enjoy music, art and cuisine at this perfect chance to explore Pensacola’s downtown and art scene with a Halloween theme on October 19 from 5-9pm. FREE

Halloween Craft Day

Head over to Duke and Stella (6675 Pine Forest Rd.) for healthy spooky snacks, crafts and goodie bags. Children can come in costume. FREE

Wahooloween

Trick or treating, fun, activities and a Halloween movie at Blue Wahoo Stadium on October 26 from 5-7pm FREE

Healthy Halloween Party

The Junior League of Pensacola is hosting a Healthy Halloween Party on October 27 from 10am – NOON in the Greenhut Auditorium. There will be spooky games, facing painting, crafts, and healthy trick or treating. Please no frightening or sexy costumes. FREE

Halloween at the Naval Aviation Museum

Spooktacular specials, hands on activities, and mascot meet and greets and more in the Blue Angels Atrium on October 27th from 10am – NOON. FREE

Pensacola Annual Witches Ride

All ages are invited to decorate their bikes and dress in costume for a slow ride around East Hill then back to the Vineyard to watch Hocus Pocus on October 27 from 4-6pm. The Vineyard is located at  1010 N. 12th Ave, Pensacola.  FREE

Science Spooktacular

Head over to Navarre Beach to the Navarre Beach Marine Science Center on October 27 from 5-9 pm for science, costumes, haunted beach walk, games and more. $5 per person and kids 2 and under are free. The Navarre Beach Marine Science Center is located at 8638 Blue Heron Rd. Navarre Beach

Halloween Egg Haunt

Egg Haunts, creepy critters from Animal Tales, carnival games, bounce houses, hayrides and the PNJ costume contest at the Roger Scott Athletic Complex on October 27 from 5:30-8pm.  FREE (please bring a non perishable food item for the Manna Food Pantries).

  • 6pm – ages 0-2
  • 6:30pm – ages 3-4
  • 7pm – ages 5-7
  • 7:30pm – ages 8-10
  • 7:50 pm – ages 11 and up

 An Enchanted Halloween

Spend the afternoon with your favorite enchanted friends with a meet and greet, crafts, trick or treats and fun on October 28 from 3:30-4:45pm at the Young Philosophers Society (inside the Mary Esther Mall) . Cost is $10 per child (includes one free adult).  Purchase tickets 

Scoops Ice Cream and Sweets Halloween Celebration

Games, prizes, giveaways and specials at Scoops Ice Cream and Sweets located at 5237 Willing St., Milton on October 31 from 2-9pm. Costume contest at 5pm.

Halloween Festival

Trunk or treating, bounce houses, games, music and more on October 31 from 5:30-8:30pm on Navarre Beach. $5 per child, parents are FREE.
